Why "Owner" permissions is needed when inviting Service Account(s) to Google Search Console? Is this a must?

Having doubts why WarpIndex needs owner permission, here is why?

Simply put, Warpindex needs access to your Google Search Console account to function properly. We understand it might feel intrusive to register your account, but it's necessary for us to submit pages for indexing on your behalf.

Google requires this level of access to ensure the tool works effectively. Only by being registered as an Owner can Warpindex perform its tasks correctly. Don't worry about security – you won't directly log in to Google Search Console using our service account.

Our service account is specifically set up to work with the Google Indexing API. It's granted specific rights to do things like check if URLs are indexed, index new URLs, and deindex URLs (IMPORTANT: We don’t use the “Remove Request” Indexing API request for this). This setup ensures your website's indexing process runs smoothly.
